Come and join us as we celebrate the blessings our Founding Fathers bequeathed to us through their Divinely guided writings known as The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution of the United States, and The Bill of Rights (first ten amendments). Our Fourth of July parade event is intended to promote fellowship, celebrate our liberties, and enjoy old fashioned entertainment.

The parade event is small-town fun. Our neighbors bring their tractors, antique cars, and mule-drawn wagons. Some build floats to celebrate the history of the founding of our nation. We always invite George and Martha Washington, Paul Revere (on his horse, of course), Betsy Ross (and her beautiful flag), Benjamin Franklin, Uncle Sam, and Miss Liberty to participate.

We offer an old-fashioned apple pie contest, pie-by-the-slice, home-churned ice cream (several flavors), plus hamburgers and all the fixins. And old time bluegrass Gospel music from the brush arbor stage.

Lancaster is nestled in the hills of beautiful Middle Tennessee on TN State Hwy. 141 located 7 miles east of Gordonsville, Tennessee. From the west take exit #258 off I-40 and follow Hwy. 141 through Gordonsville to Lancaster. From the east, you can exit I-40 at Buffalo Valley Rd., exit #268. Follow Hwy. 96 south to Center Hill Dam, then turn right onto Hwy. 141. Lancaster is 4 miles from Center Hill Dam.
